There isn’t a return processing or additional fee for the inventory transfer at this time. In the future, there might be a fee for inventory transfer to cover the costs associated with returning and transferring inventory to your MCF account. So, for a limited time, you might take advantage of free inventory transfer.

You can discuss participating in the Inventory Transfer program with either your Vendor Manager or a Buy with Prime or MCF sales representatives. If they agree to your participation, you can submit your completed Inventory Request form to them, including the ASIN, SKU, unit cost, and quantity requested for the transfer. Any ASIN in your MCF account listed with a Manufacturer Barcode (enabled during the Add Catalog process) might be eligible for inventory transfer.

If your Inventory Transfer request is approved, you receive a confirmation email from your Buy with Prime or MCF sales representative. When the transfer is complete, you can see the transferred quantity on the All Inventory Page in your MCF account and receive a return invoice in your Vendor Central account for the transferred quantity.

Invoices are emailed to the email address provided at the time of onboarding to the pay-by-invoice option. You can also download the invoices from the billing dashboard. Payments are due within 30 days of the date that the invoice is generated.

Yes, you can use the credit note to pay for invoices. To use credit notes, please email mcf-billing@amazon.com with the credit note number and the invoice number that you want to use the credit note for. Your credit note is applied to the invoice within five business days.

You can view transaction level data in the billing dashboard in your MCF account and also download the excel file from the reports page in your MCF account.

When we transfer inventory from Amazon Retail to you using the Inventory Transfer program, we’re essentially returning the inventory to you just like RTV. The difference between RTV and Inventory Transfer is that for Inventory Transfer, the inventory remains in Amazon fulfillment centers under your ownership, while under RTV, we physically return the inventory to you.
